Well done to our U13s who secured the league title on Thursday at Chulmleigh, winning all 7 league matches along the way
A wicket for Kevin Johnson in the first ball of the match set the tone for a tight bowling performance to restrict Chulmleigh to 86-6 in their 20 overs. NDCC knocked off the runs thanks mainly to 43* from Sam Wright.
Thanks to everyone who has played U13s this year – we have used 23 different players and needed all of them! Everyone contributed.
Special mention to Nathan Ware, Oliver Callaghan and Ethan Cross who have turn out in all 11 U13 matches this year (League, Cup and Touring Friendly)
Sam Wright had an exceptional season scoring 319 runs at an average of 159.5 (also with 6 wickets @ 13.17)
Nathan Ware was top wicket taker with 9 @ 14.67 (and economy of 3.47) (and 81 runs at an average of 27)
