Before setting off for Lincolnshire, Jan Witheridge and Mark Overton were with the Tarka U13 Softball team in the Regional Final of the Lady Taverner’s Softball Competition in Bristol. These are the girls we hope will follow in the footsteps of the U15’s and reach the National Hardball finals in due course. The North Devon Tarka U13 girls won all their matches against softball champions from, Berkshire, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire. There were great performances with bat and ball by all players in a terrific team performance. Grace Heard (Captain), Issy George, Flora Corbin, Ruby Davis, Saffy Ayara-Epke, Eleanor Voce, Charlotte Lipscombe and Olivia Churcher.
