2025 was a fabulous season all round, with the U10s taking the league title with 8 wins out of 8. Many of the victories were by large margins, however, when looking back it was the tight games which stick in the memory, notably with Filleigh, where many different members of the squad came to the rescue to help secure the victory. They became a really tight knit group and were incredibly supportive of each other which is actually far more important to me than the wins. A big thanks must go to the other volunteers, in particular Rick Wild, who helped coach throughout the season.

The U10s were well led by the captaincy team of William Spencer-Wortley and Rory O' Connor who excelled with bat and ball and set an excellent example. Winston Burge and Sebastian Spencer-Wortley provided valuable wickets and runs at crucial times, whilst Oli Wild, Max Morris and Jack Tamlyn provided really classy performances to ensure many a victory. Alfie Dodds was a fielding force, and we cannot forget the contributions of Monty Eveleigh, Zachy Sothcott and William Letham-Gent who put in great performances in many a game as well. I sincerely hope this group of players can stay together throughout the age groups as I feel they will only improve with age, and become quite a force.
