2021 is the first year that North Devon have entered the U19 T20 Devon Competition. They are entering under the name of the ’Sandhills Supergiants’. This is a combined team between North Devon Cricket Club and Braunton Cricket Club. This year, we have been grouped with Bideford and Filleigh.

North Devon has a thriving youth section headed up by Jan Witheridge and the purpose of the U19 cup is to expose these cricketers to a party cricket atmosphere! Players will wear coloured kit and use a pink ball, with loud music played for the boundaries and sixes and each player having their own walkout song! Each fixture will be a great occasion and hopefully is not atypical to one found at the county Ground. This is great preparation for making the step between youth cricket and adult cricket at the club and has a real mix of first teamers down to U13’s.
