North Devon Cricket Club has an extensive and succesful history. We currently field three teams in the Devon League and two in the North Devon League. Our 1st XI competes at the top of the Devon League Premier division and were deserved winners in 2007 and 2011 and were runners-up in 2009.

Over the years we around proud to boast a number of county and full international players, including Bill and David Shepherd. Current Middlesex and Australia opening batsmen Chris Rogers spent part of his early career at Instow as overseas Club Professional. Locally born twins Craig and Jamie Overton have represented North Devon at every level from Colts upwards and currently play professional cricket for Somerset and have both played for the England Lions Team.

The 1st XI is currently captained by Barney Huxtable, click here to read his message for the season. We are part of a long-running exchange programme of young players between Devon and Western Province in South Africa, which has been going for more than 15 years. This has recently brought Jason Smith to North Devon and has seen current 1st XI Max Curtis spending the winter in South Africa. Our overseas players for the 2015 season is Quintin Dreyer, who joins us from Cape Town. Quintin has been playing for Victoria CC in the Western Province premier division for the last two seasons. He is a right arm medium fast bowler and middle order batsman, click here for his full profile.
